Nominate A Worthy Candidate for the Don Rider Award
In 1972 the board appointed Donald C. Rider as the League's Executive Director.  During his 16 year tenure,
Don C. Rider
OML progressed in so many areas - as a staff they grew from two full-time and two part-time to twelve full-time and one part-time employee. Membership grew from under 300 to 385 cities and towns. Rider's commitment to the League and to its obligation to be a voice for cities and towns still rings true today.   Through your submission of a nominee for the OML Don Rider Award, your city or town has the opportunity to recognize individuals, whether they are employees, council members, managers, clerks, treasurers, etc. who have played a vital role in the growth and development of your community.

The deadline for nominations of August 29th is fast approaching. If you have any questions, please contact Missy Dean, Director of Member Services or call 800-324-6651 or 405-528-7515.

More information on the award and Don Rider.
