12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS GIFT-GIVING

DAY 1:

ART CAN LEAD YOU TO WORLDS BEYOND YOUR IMAGINATION

CATALAN SPAIN and MALLORCA
10 DAYS IN PARADISE

HUGH ARNOLD'S
CONSTELLATION leads you to your next adventure....

There are only three available worldwide and only one in the United States.   CONSTELLATION,  a Lambda Chromogenic print mounted on Dibond and Acrylic.  At 40" x 117", it is the pièce de résistance of the AGUA NACIDA series.  With the purchase of this magnificent masterpiece of photography, we have created a journey of dreams for four people with entré to the idyllic island of Mallorca via Barcelona.

Our trip begins in the Catalan city of Barcelona, where we experience the romance, the sights, sounds and tastes of the Spain that Picasso, Dali, Miro, Tapies and the plethora of Spanish artists and poets shared in the "Barcelona de las  Artes."  In addition, we will experience Mediterranean gastronomy with the atmosphere of  flamenco.

Majorca is a jewel in the Mediterranean landscape, blessed with imposing mountains, wonderful bays and beaches, as well as an ideal climate, almost all-year-round.  The art and culture scene's beating heart can be found in the island's capital Palma de Mallorca, whose museums and art galleries are comparable with anything on the international circuit.

If you are looking for a journey that will fill your heart and ease your soul, this is the one that will sweep you off your feet and land you in a state of bliss for decades to come.  When Joseph Campbell said "follow your bliss,"  he must have been referring to Mallorca...And when you return home from this idyllic adventure, Hugh Arnold's "CONSTELLATION" will be waiting to greet you as a reminder of the most exquisite journey of your life....  CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

"ROD STEWART'S FOOTBALL MATCH" by CARINTHIA WEST
"ROD STEWART'S FOOTBALL MATCH" by CARINTHIA WEST

Silver Gelatin Print
16 x 20 inches
$1,450

"My friend and roommate, model and photographer, Rory Flynn, (The shapely bum on the right, and the daughter of Errol Flynn), her friend Diane (left) and I used to hang out at Rod Stewart's football match every Saturday in Coldwater Canyon. Everyone who was anyone in rock and roll used to congregate there, and most of the guys ended up playing. At any one time you'd have half the Rolling Stones, The Faces, or The Who on the field. Plus, producers like Ian La Frenais (who wrote 'Porridge') or actors Ian McShane or David Hemmings. It was all shouting and swearing on the pitch. The guy on the right is Paul Nichols, the drummer from Widowmaker, and if you look carefully in the background on the right, you'll see Rod Stewart. This photograph is one of my favorites, and gave me the title for my archive: 'Hanging Out.' ...no one is posing, it is just the way we were... being young, having fun..." - Carinthia West

DAY 12:

" GEORGE HARRISON & MAHARISHI, INDIA, 1968"
by PATTIE BOYD

Archival Pigment Print on Cotton Rag Paper
16 x 20 inches
$2,100

George is captured here showing Maharishi some polaroids during a lecture.

Pattie Boyd was instrumental in the Beatle's and particularly George Harrison's interest in India and Eastern philosophy and music. It was on her suggestion that they go to meet Maharishi and explore Transcendental Meditation which soon became a major feature of George's daily life.

"While we were in Rishikesh at Maharishi's ashram studying meditation, there were occasionally intimate talks just for the Beatles. Clearly a lot more meditators were expected, as you can see in the background of this photograph an Indian builder on a rooftop. In the foreground George-wearing a pretty, floral Deborah and Clare shirt-is showing something to the Maharishi." - Pattie Boyd
