O ur employees are instrumental to the success of OUE and it's programs. But with 61 people (and counting!) it's hard to know which unit a person belongs to, much less anything about who they are outside of work. With this new monthly series, we hope to remedy this problem! Our first employee spotlight is Richard South, Corporate Partnership Program Manager in C2D2.

Sally Hammock to Retire June 30th
 by Recha Reid (CAE)
Sally has worked as a program manager for the Center for Academic Enrichment for over five years. She has been an invaluable part of GT 1000 and GT 2000, giving her expertise on the organization and management of the Team Leader program and spearheading the creation of the GT 1000 Ambassadors program. She has been continuously tapped to help on various projects, where she has served with excellence. Sally’s creativity, wittiness, and unfailing love for Georgia Tech enlivens every meeting and makes her  one  of the most knowledgeable and known person s  across campus. She has  also  served in a mentorship capacity for many Tech grads. Sally’s frankness enables genuine communication that has strengthened every organization she has been a part of, including the Silver Jackets - an organization for retired Georgia Tech faculty, staff, and their spouses – where she serves as Event Organizer. While she is retired, we hope that she will pop into the office ever so often for us to catch up as we will still need her guidance about all things GT.
