Service Anniversary Awards

Last month, 274 employees were honored for their years of service to Georgia Tech at the beautiful Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel for a special luncheon. 227 employees celebrated their 10-year work anniversary with the Institute and 47 celebrated 25 years. President G. P. "Bud" Peterson, Provost Rafael L. Bras, and AVP of Human Resources, Kim Harrington, recognized the employees' nearly 3,500 combined years of service to Georgia Tech. Two OUE colleagues were recognized at the event:

Monica Halka, Honors Program, has been part of Georgia Tech for 10 years.
Monique Morris, Center for Career Discovery & Development, has been part of Georgia Tech for 10 years.
Mysty Connelly's New Role/Title in OUE

Mysty recently has a new role in OVPUE, "Asst.
Director for Administrative Operations". Over the past five years OUE has grown in size and scope, and so has Mysty's responsibilities. The new role will better reflect the broad range of financial and administrative leadership that Mysty provides  and will also establish some new areas of responsibility for her within OUE.

Recha Reid's New Position

Recha Reid, formerly of the Center for Academic Enrichment, has started a new position in the School of Public Policy's Center for Advanced Communications Policy as their Administrative Manager. Thank you, Recha, for all of your hard work for CAE (and OUE) over the past few years!
