NOVEMBER 2016
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, followed quickly by the end-of-semester bustle; winter break; and new year startup, we want to take a moment to thank each and everyone of you for your contributions to OUE and to Georgia Tech. The work each of us does in support of our students and their education cannot be overstated. Over the next few weeks, please take time to enjoy the holiday season with your friends, family, and loved ones. We look forward to gathering in January to celebrate a new year and new semester. To that end, please make sure to mark your calendars for our OUE Spring Town Hall meeting on Monday January 23, 3:30-5:00.

Complete College Georgia's (CCG-GT) 2016 Status Report

Georgia Tech's CCG efforts are co-chaired by Sandi Bramblett, Assistant Vice President for Institutional Research, and Steven Girardot, Associate Vice Provost for UE, and coordinated by Debbie Pearson, the Retention and Graduation Manager (who reports jointly to the Registrar's Office).

CCG will be celebrating its fifth year of implementation at GT with several notable accomplishments: establishment of a full-time position devoted to retention; centralized institutional outreach to identify and connect with "at risk" students; creation of GT 2100; hiring a full-time learning specialist in CAS to expand academic coaching services; ramping up Midterm Progress Reports intervention model; securing GradesFirst for advisors; and much more that has contributed to Georgia Tech's historic high retention and graduation rates.
