In May 2017, Vice Provost Potts announced the formation of OUE 2020, a committee charged with designing and implementing immediate policies to advance OUE's mission by the close of 2019.
 
SLS has a brand new event series this fall. It has a special focus on putting the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into action. The series celebrates their new  Greater Atlanta United Nations University Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (RCE).   
 
The first event of the series took place on September 13th and featured G. Wayne Clough, Georgia Tech's President Emeritus. During the presentation he discussed climate change and Georgia Tech's role. (You can view a video of the presentation HERE.) 
Diversity Symposium: A Reflection

On Wednesday, September 6th, Institute Diversity held its ninth annual Diversity Symposium. This year's symposium really highlighted the need for inclusivity, in relation to diversity.
