CAMPUS NEWS
Classroom & Academic Scheduling Town Hall Meetings

The Classroom and Academic Scheduling Task Force was commissioned in October 2015 by Rafael Bras, provost and executive vice president for Academic Affairs and Steve Swant, executive vice president for Administration and Finance. It was charged to conduct a comprehensive review of Georgia Tech's classroom and academic processes, procedures, and protocols to determine a path forward that balances the needs of our students and faculty with our existing campus resources. The task force is led by Dr. Joe Hughes, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (chair), and Dr. Steven Girardot, Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (vice-chair).

After months of research and planning the task force would like to share its findings and recommendations with Georgia Tech staff, faculty, and students. Two town halls are being offered for your convenience:
  • OCTOBER 25th (3:00pm) - Student Center Theater
  • NOVEMBER 3rd (11:00am) - East Architecture Room 123
For more information about the background of the task force, CLICK HERE.
