In football it's called a "hail mary," in politics it's called desperation, and in the language you and I speak it's called "blowing smoke in someone's ear."

In an on-air interview, Obama called Mitt Romney that which bulls deposit in fields with an "er" on the end. Such a display may be poor decorum and morally opprobrious but obviously not out of character for the thin-skinned Obama.

Calling Mitt Romney names and making crude attempts to insult him are no more a plan to reverse the downward spiral we are facing than is blaming everything on George W. Bush. The truth is as I have said before - Obama has no plan to do anything different than he has been doing since taking office, i.e., play golf, play basketball, raise taxes and redistribute wealth.
