Occupy Earth! 10/19/16
Luke 19:13 (KJV)
13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
This Passage of Holy Scripture is taken from a Parable our Lord and Savior taught-The PARABLE OF POUNDS/TALENTS.
This same teaching is also recorded in Matthew's Writing, where Matthew used the term "TALENTS."

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day here in GA., AND I had a nurse for Amanda!!!
After rehearsing my music, I felt led/driven to go to the park nearest my home.
As I pulled out of the driveway, I was torn between going to the gym first or going to the park?
I had my OLD paper Bible in hand and wanted to just spend some time with my Heavenly Father.
I chose/was led to go to the park first and as I drove there I felt in my heart God had a "WORD" for me.
In my music endeavors, I feel driven to seek EXCELLENCE.
Although I have played and performed music for over 40 years, it has always been a "QUANTITY versus QUALITY" for me.
I always have had deadlines and services that required a lot of songs in my repertoire.
I always relied on others to actually play and sing and they covered for any lack of my performance!
When I got to the park, I found my bench and opened my Bible.
It fell open to:

For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
Without bragging, I have probably read this Story and this particular Scripture over a thousand times,
BUT this time God revealed a Truth I had never seen or heard preached!
It had always troubled me as to the WHY would God take from the person who failed to use his talent and give it to the one with the most?????????
May I add one word to the above Scripture:
"
that every one which HATH (FAITH) shall be given; and from him that hath NOT (FAITH), even that (FAITH) that he hath shall be taken away from him!!!!"
SELAH-THINK ON THIS A MOMENT!!!!
As an old fellow in the old Church once shouted out during a service:
"
YOU GOT THE POWER-SO USE THE POWER!!!!!!"
Or, as mama taught me, "IF YOU DON'T USE IT, YOU WILL LOSE IT!"

Did not our Lord TEACH us how to "SAY unto this mountain!!!!!"

The MORE we ACT in FAITH, the MORE FAITH God will give us!!!
The opposite is also true.
The LESS we use our FAITH, the more He will take our FAITH away and GIVE it to the person exercising their FAITH!!!
PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
One last word before I close.
Jesus said, "OCCUPY till I come!!!!"

While sitting on the park bench, I looked up the definition of "OCCUPY."
The most readily use of this verb is:
1. to take or fill up (space, time, etc.):
I occupied my evenings reading novels.
BUT look an definition number 2:
2. to engage or employ the mind, energy, or attention of:
Occupy the children with a game while I prepare dinner.
TODAY, step out in FAITH-the MORE we WALK IN FAITH, the MORE our God will give us!!!
OCCUPY/ENGAGE OR EMPLOY THE MIND, ENERGY, OR ATTENTION OF TILL HE COMES!!!
OCCUPY/ENGAGE OR EMPLOY THE MIND, ENERGY, OR ATTENTION OF EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
