Women in Buisness

From:
Meghana Joshi, Associate AIA
Chair, WiA-AIAOC

What does it take to be a successful business woman? What are the challenges? How do you find your voice and navigate your path?

Come to AIA Orange County's office on November 2nd at 5:30 pm, and sit down with us for an informal chat and highly interactive session with two diverse and successful business women of AIA Orange County - Melissa Leonard, CEO of Skwerl and  Jacqueline Pons-Bunney, Managing Partner and Shareholder at Weil & Drage.

About our speakers:

Melissa Leonard (Assoc AIA) is the CEO of Skwerl and has over 20 years of experience as a senior-level executive and entrepreneur across multiple industries. She earned a MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, and has completed post-graduate studies in strategy and advanced modeling (in conjunction with Harvard Business School and MIT, respectively). She brings a broad business background, with deep experience in leading new ventures and setting up labor optimization, outsourcing, technology implementation, and quality assurance operations.

Jacqueline Pons-Bunney is Managing Partner and Shareholder at Weil & Drage. She is licensed to practice law in both California and Arizona, and opened the firm’s Arizona office in 2008. She focuses her practice primarily on the representation of design, construction, and real estate professionals in a wide array of actions. Her undergraduate degree in Architecture affords her unique insight and advantage in dealing with adversaries and understanding the design and construction process. This unique background also allows her to meet the needs and concerns of her clients because she understands the industry literally from the ground up. Learn More Here
