The Alliance Partners with Local Businesses and Community Non-profits Bringing Family Fun to Sacramento's Home of Industry
2012Picnic@thePark_SponsorThumbnail

As many of you know, the Power Inn Alliance is holding it's 5th Annual Community Picnic at the Park. All the net revenues from the event will be divided between St. John's First Steps Child Development Center and Sac PD Foundation's Criminal Justice Magnet Academy located in 4 local high risk high schools - similar to an ROTC program with an over 90% graduation rate and college/vocational school enrollment!

The Alliance has contracted with regional favorites:

plus there will be Baby Races for the 6-12 month kiddos and a Pumpkin Patch! (read more)

Additionally, all our community service providers are coming:
  • Sacramento Police Department,
  • Sacramento City Fire Dept.,
  • Sacramento Police Horseman's Association, Sacramento County Sheriff
  • CHP and
  • CERT - Community Emergency Response Team.
Plus, local mascots:
  • McGruff the Crime Dog,
  • Scooter of CA Air Quality Board,
  • SafetyBill of Safetyville USA,
  • Herky the Hornet from Sacramento State,
  • Goldie from Golden One Credit Union and
  • Dinger of the River Cats
Not only all the fun, but we have FOOD from the Best Food Trucks in Sacramento and a Beer & Wine Garden featuring local craft beer from Hoppy, New Glory and Device Breweries - wine from local favorites Bogle, Clarksburg Wine Co., Merlo Family Vineyards and 3Wine Company! Adults get 3 free tasting tickets with their ticket purchase and proper identification.

Entrance to the Picnic is at Business Park Way off of Fruitridge Road.  A $10 ticket gets you in - the rest is up to you! All the carnival games, bounce houses, snow cones, popcorn and entertainment are free! Bring a picnic basket (no beverages please - coolers subject to search), water is FREE at our Picnic Bars and has been donated by Nestle Waters

Besides a huge Vendor Faire - we have a raffle with over  $4,000 worth of items and tickets are 5/$5 or 25/$20! Wine and Beer are 5/$1 tickets - all sodas and food can be found at the Food Truck Concourse.

Get your Tickets at http://www.powerinn.org/picnic and look for Jamie's crazy specials on The Alliance anPicnic at the Park Facebook Pages.
