St. Rita School inspires students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade eight to achieve academic excellence in a safe, nurturing and faith-filled Catholic environment.
We prepare students to be morally responsible, innovative thinkers who, in today’s technology-guided global community, live and share the Love of Christ.
From the desk of Mrs. Tiezzi

Dear SRS Parents,

Next Monday, October 16 four members of our St. Rita School parent community will be recognized at the H.O.P.E.S. ( Help Our Parish Elementary Schools) dinner for their volunteer efforts on behalf of Catholic education. Lena Sorenson, Sandy Mascia, Monique Patrick and Leonard Patrick have been named the 2017 St. John Neumann award winners. We are grateful that they have shared their time, talent and treasure with our students and school community.

Last week we switched over to the winter uniform. Parents are asked to please review the dress code with your child/ren as there are many students not in compliance. Teachers will be sending home dress code violation forms to those students who continually are not in compliance. If on occasion your child is not in proper uniform, please send a note to the teacher informing her/him of the reason.

School pictures will be taken next Tuesday, October 17 (class pictures in uniform) and individual pictures (dress-up clothes) on Wednesday, October 18 .Order forms for class and individual pictures were sent home with your child today. Please complete the form and return it to school on picture day. You may also order on-line before picture day at www.mylifetouch.com. St. Rita School picture day ID is EJ417047Q0.

Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled for October 19 & 20 as we are midway through the first trimester. Teachers have already contacted you about scheduling a time for your conference. Please be prompt for your conference and adhere to your allotted time. Conference time is your opportunity to hear about your child’s progress, ask questions or share concerns. We value our partnership with our parents. Thank you for entrusting your child/ren to our care. Have a great week.

God Bless,
Mrs. Tiezzi

Charleston Wrap Fundraiser

Our Charleston Wrap Fundraiser kicked off last week and it is going well! Please visit  www.charlestonwrapstore.com and use our school online ID: z-12449 to register your student(s) and to sell online to out of town friends and family. As of last week, we have sold over $1,600 worth of items online, so keep up the good work!
