Bring Sunday's Gospel Home

Matthew 22:15-21

Some people (who didn't like Jesus) tried to trick him by asking if God's people should obey Caesar's rules. Should they pay taxes to Caesar who was not a Christian ruler? Jesus tells the people that if they use Caesar's money, they need to pay for it. Most importantly, then, Jesus reminds them to give God what belongs to God.

Meditation: What do we have that belongs to God?

Being a Good Steward

Prayer Ministry  Lord, Hear Our Prayer

Did you know St. Anne Catholic Church has a group of parishioners who pray daily, in their own homes, for the intentions of others? The parish's Prayer Ministry is made up of several teams with a designated team leader. As prayer intentions are identified, members are notified by their team leader to pray for specific intentions.

To submit a prayer request, visit the parish website. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Prayer Ministry, email or call Coordinator Hannelore Grantham.

Save the date for the 10th annual Deimel Legacy Ball, to be held Saturday, January 31, 2015, at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center. The evening is sponsored by parishes in the Columbus deanery of the Diocese of Savannah.

Proceeds from the Deimel Legacy Ball support tuition assistance at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School. The evening will feature cocktails, dinner, and dancing, with music provided by The 10:30 Band.
