Namaste Breathe N Flow Yoga Family & Friends:

The Season of Change has arrived.  Fall is a beautiful, pleasant reminder that change is a natural part of life filled with colorful views and fresh crisp cool air to breath.  One thing is for sure that we learn through the practic e of Yoga - Even though things on the outside may look differently, the True Self remains the same.  The tree without leaves is just as beautiful.

Join us this month as our focus will be on practicing "expecting less and doing more".   Wake up tomorrow with the intention of doing your best and not waiting for others to make it happen for you.  Let's evaluate: are we living a life that is filled with giving for the sake of giving, or are we giving for the sake of receiving?   If our actions are surrounded by expectations, you will not find pure joy and peace of mind.   "When you make someone Happy, you see his happy face and feel happy yourself.  If you have really experienced the joy of just giving something for the sake of giving, you will wait greedily for the oportunities to get that joy again and again."  ~Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

October Pose of the Month
Sarvangasana
(Shoulder Stand)
 Shoulder Stand
Sarvangasana is known as the queen of Asana and its Sanskrit name translates to "whole body or all limb" as this pose benefits the entire body.    This inversion is both calming and energizing.  Shoulder stand helps relieve stress, reduces signs of fatigue, improves digestion and is theraputic for asthma, sinusitus and infertility.  The physical benefits include stretching the neck & shoulders, and toning the stomach muscles and legs.
