The 2014 Cleveland Green Building Challenge is a program of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the United States Green Building Council presented in collaboration with the Cleveland 2030 District.

The series is structured on the overall process of optimizing building energy performance: evaluating facility performance (ASSESS), setting goals and deciding on energy efficiency measures (TARGET), implementation of operational efficiencies and building retrofit projects (DELIVER), and measurement/verification of savings (MEASURE). MEASURE, the final event, will be held from 7:30am - 10:00am on October 21st.

BOMA International represented Commercial Real Estate at the International Codes Council (ICC) Public Comment Hearings for the 2015 International Green Construction Code (IgCC) in early October. This is the final round of hearings for this code cycle.

We need your help! For the first time, remote voting will be implemented and code officials will be able to vote in person at the hearings or within a two week period following the hearings. BOMA Greater Cleveland is monitoring the process via the information on the BOMA website, tweets from our codes guys, and e-mail updates. Based on this information we may need you to alert our codes officials with the information they need (via voters guides we will produce) to understand BOMA's positions on the issues.
