Dear CSAH community,

Our October 24th conference is just around the corner and now is the time to register! This conference features keynote speaker Dr. Samir Sinha and will take an in-depth look at innovative practices around frailty, cognitive aspects of aging, and aging in poverty.

We are also excited to welcome a new partnership between CSAH and KFL&A Public Health. This partnership will bring in a population health perspective to inform many aging topics, and will also be a great resource for our members to connect with public health experts.

Check out the links below for some resources and education material that we thought would be of interest.

Sincerely,

CSAH Staff

Access clinical resources, continuous learning opportunities and teaching material which support the care of elderly adults within primary care, hospital, community and long term care settings.

Spotlight: Poverty

Poverty among older adults is a social and fiscal problem associated with economic vulnerability. Canada uses low-income cut-offs (LICO) as an indicator for economic vulnerability. Low-income seniors tend to be not only "income poor" but also "asset poor."
