Busy Busy October
Yarn Nook will be bustling with activity and new items for you to explore this month.
 There are several opportunities for you to join us for fun and fiber at the shop in October ~ we hope you will join us. Also, 
Suzette and Kitty have come up with some great project ideas combined with beautiful yarns that will inspire you this Fall ~ come on by to find your inspiration today!  
Amano is Coming

Berroco is launching a new yarn line called Amano ~ it is soft and beautiful and Yarn Nook's order will ship on October 1st. We are so excited to share this amazing new yarn launch with you.
Abbeville Market Opportunity
On November 21st, the Yarn Nook will be participating in the Abbeville Market. We will be selling hand knit, crochet, and woven pieces. If you have anything you would like to sell, drop your pieces off at the shop by Wednesday, November 18th. Your items must be tagged with your name and priced. Please price your items with our new shop policy in mind ~ the shop gets 25% commission on any items we sell for you. 

Note: We will only accept commission items 
that are made with Yarn Nook yarn.
Dream in Color Club 
Every month we will receive an exclusive and beautiful colorway of Dream In Color yarn. We will only receive 10 skeins along with a code for an online pattern to go specifically with that yarn. Come by the shop to check out this beautiful yarn and amazing pattern.

October Sit & Stitch
Don't forget to bring a project and the details of construction to "Show-N-Tell" for an extra 15% off of your purchase that evening only. T he project must be made from Yarn Nook yarn. P lease also provide the name of the yarn used, needle size, pattern name, etc.

Ladies, remember that Knit Night is a great time to get together with our fellow fiber junkies and visit and share ideas. Bring "mindless" knitting so you can enjoy the  conversations without the fear of messing up a complicated pattern. We all know its hard to concentrate when we are having a good time!

October Knit-a-long
Join Suzette on Wednesdays in October (1 - 3pm) to knit the Turtle Bay Scarf/Shawl

Our hugely popular Scoreboard KAL continues until January and it is absolutely not too late to start, so come on by to pick up your yarn in your favorite  football team's colors. For each game your team plays, you knit a row for each point scored (in the order scored) and you will have a beautiful scarf at the end of football season. (For Example: Choose black and gold yarns for the Saints - knit a black row for each point the Saints score, and knit a gold row for each point the opponent scores. By the end of the season you will have completed a beautiful, unusual and one-of-a-kind scarf, and you will be looking forward to and enjoying football games more than you ever thought possible! Ha!)

 Classes & Workshops

Class Information

You must pre-register for all classes and pre-pay to hold your spot in the class. Class sizes are limited and if no one has signed up within 24 hours of the class, it will be canceled. Supplies for classes must be purchased from Yarn Nook.

Year Long Afghan 2 ~ Block #8, $30
Saturday, October 3rd (11am - 1pm)
By creating Block #8, the Mosaic Block, you will learn to read a mosaic chart to create an amazing block. Sign up if you feel you need help with this square of your blanket or if you want to learn this technique for other projects. Taught by Bridget Borne.

Our Year Long Afghan project has gotten a great response. We are excited to get started on block #8 and we encourage you to join us in knitting this afghan one block at a time! By the end of the year you will have created an amazing finished piece. You may purchase the pattern at the shop or on ravelry.com.

Create Your Own Knitting, Crochet or Weaving Class
This class is for anyone from the beginner who wants to learn the basics to the advanced student who would like help tackling a specific project. If you would like to schedule a group or a one-on-one lesson please call the shop ~ we will be glad to schedule a lesson at your convenience.
