Dear Concordia Alumna/us,

Wow, what a great Alumni Homecoming celebration we had last weekend! God gave us a beautiful day for football, food and fellowship.  It's just so good and so pleasing to know that alumni will gather to renew ties and support the current student body.  If you were here, thank you!  It was good to see you.  If you weren't here, think about joining us in December for the 39th Annual Boar's Head Festival and THEN coming back next year for Homecoming!

In His Service,

Laura

Homecoming Week Revisited

On Tuesday, September 20th, university leaders cut the ribbon to dedicate the new North Building and officially open CUAA's new School of Nursing.  Guests toured two floors where the nursing and athletic training programs are housed.  The university is exploring more health science major programs to be housed in this location. The following Saturday, September 24th, students, alumni, families, faculty and staff celebrated Homecoming 2016 with a barbecue under the tent and a football win versus Trinity International University.  Nearly 100 alumni were in attendance with family and friends, and the winner of the first annual Alumni Decade Challenge is...2010!  Look out next year 2010!  2000 and 1980 were close competitors!

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.  As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.  And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.  I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  John 17:17-21
