Did You Know?
People who live on the equator or central area of the planet never experience fall.

According to seasonal patterns of relationships in Facebook profiles, fall is the time when more singles change their status to "In a Relationship" or "Engaged" than the yearly average. More breakups occur during the summertime.

When leaves change colour in the fall, they are actually becoming their true colour. In the summer, the chlorophyll (which is how the leaves receive nourishment from the sun) takes over and causes them to turn green and hide their colour.

Americans spend about $2.1 billion on Halloween candy. That's a lot of Reese's Pieces!
