Trent Highlands is Officially Launched!
On Oct. 5th we held the grand opening of Community Living Trent Highlands. The event took place at Kennedy Place, our Lindsay location. Ceremonies and announcements - including the ribbon cutting - took place at 11 a.m. with a light lunch following. We also released our 2016/2017 Annual Report at the event.
Dr. Helena Jaczek, Minister of Community &
Services, joined us to mark the celebration along with
several Ministry staff from around the
province. Local councillor Patty O'Reilly and our own
MPP Laurie Scott brought greetings, as did the
Executive Director of Community Living Ontario, Chris Beesley.
At the ceremony our Executive Director, Teresa Jordan, reiterated her gratitude to our board members, staff and to everyone who supports the agency.
Special thanks to Tim Tofflemire for capturing the event through his fantastic photography.

Rose called Steve last weekend and because he was so happy to see her, he hopped on a plane from Fort McMurray and flew home to visit with Rose. Rose, Steve and his daughter Shannon all enjoyed a lovely lunch while catching up. Rose was so happy to see him and the feeling was reciprocated.
