"But which is the stone that supports the bridge?" - Kublai Khan
This is a stone of the earth. The gold and orange colors remind us of our early planet, unblemished by buildings and people. Just the land and the water, partnering together to form the most magnificent sphere in the universe. Even then, the creator knew that there would need to be connections. There would need to be a way to traverse this earth and unify it. There would need to be bridges tying the landforms together across the waters. We connect with other people over the phone or internet, communication bridges that allow us to stay in touch without actually being with someone. At work we team together with colleagues to complete projects, creating bridges of ideas between people. There is no more important bridge than that of human relationships. When we interact with others, we have potential to create something so much greater than ourselves. Take time to breathe and reconnect with your intentions for your life. Rejoice in life's outward bridges to other people and places. But remember the bridges we traverse every day between our hearts and our actions. Follow your internal bridges and rediscover your authentic self. Take hold of your intentions and share them with the world. Be a noble bridge, with yourself and others.
At the conclusion of this newsletter are options to connect with me. I'd love to hear your thoughts and reflections as you strive to create, inspire and affect those around you.
With warm regards,
Ralph White
