October 29 is Pledge Card Sunday - Pledge cards will be located in this Sunday's bulletin and collected during both services.  Please take some time to prayerfully consider your relationship with God and your financial support and commitment to Good Shepherd.

Book Fair Fundraiser which benefitted The Episcopal Center for Children -  A big thanks to Good Shepherd Parishioners from The Episcopal Center for Children (ECC) and your ECC representatives.  This year's Book Fair fundraiser was a success!  A total of 68 books were donated and our amazing partner, Politics & Prose donated $532.95 to ECC (that was 20% of its September 17 sales if customers mentioned the ECC when making a purchase).  In addition, the ECC received monetary donations in the amount of $740.  To date, we have raised $1,272.95 and donations are still coming in to support this fundraising event.  Thanks again Good Shepherd for your continued support of this outreach ministry.

Saint Luke Food Pantry - NEEDED: tuna, chicken, chili, pasta meals, hearty soups, vegetables, beans (black, garbanzo, red), and fruit.  NOT NEEDED AT PRESENT:  cereal, rice, and saltines.  Of course, needs change regularly so please stay tuned.  They will be handing out Thanksgiving baskets on November 20 and 21.  More to come on that, but NO canned pumpkin or cranberry sauce, please.  Thank you, as always, for your generosity.

September Vestry minutes and financial reports available on the bulletin board outside the copier room.
