A Reminder from the Town of Qualicum Beach
Downtown 2 Hour Parking Areas
Please be advised that the Town has received information that some business owners and/or their employees are parking for extended periods of time, sometimes all day long, in the designated 2-hour parking areas.
The purpose of this correspondence is to seek the cooperation from the business owners and their employees to find alternate long term parking during the day and leave the street parking for the general public as most businesses rely heavily on the street parking for their customers.
As the Town cannot allocate full time resources to monitor the 2 hour parking areas, we would appreciate the cooperation from the business owners by reporting any violations to the Town if it is noticed that some vehicles remain parked in excess of the posted time limits on a regular basis. All calls to the Town will be confidential.
The Town will issue warning notices for first time violations however, repeat offenders will be issued fines if they continue to ignore the parking regulations.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Town Hall.  Thank you for your attention and cooperation in this matter.
