Getting Ready for Veterans Day
Dear Volunteers,

The leaves have changed and football season is in full swing, so of course that also means that Buddy-to-Buddy is getting into high gear to celebrate Veterans Day. There are many Veterans Day events throughout the state in November, so if you are interested in attending any and representing Buddy-to-Buddy, let us know!
Stephanie Zarb, Buddy-to-Buddy Program Manager

We encourage you to share the Veterans Day events you have heard about or will be attending with us on our November 7 and 8 Support Calls. You can also contact Outreach Coordinator Valeria Shipp at [email protected] or (734) 998-5827 and she will add your event to the event calendar. As always, don't be shy about taking pictures of yourself at these events and sending them to us! We love seeing what you're doing out in the community.

"Wounded Warrior Dogs" Wins ArtPrize Public Vote
James Mellick's "Wounded Warrior Dogs" won the public vote for ArtPrize in Grand Rapids. "The dogs are intended to be symbolic of the sacrifice and exhibit the same wounds as their human companions in battle," reads the artist's statement.
