Children's Archaeology Program: A Look into a Native American Toolbox
Thursday, October 19, 3PM

An introduction to the technology of flint knapping (stone tool production) as represented at Acton's own Pine Hawk site.

Hands-on activities related to geology and to the use and creation of stone tools.
Presented by archaeologist Craig Chartier.

Decorate a Halloween Mask

Youngsters in grades 3, 4 and 5 are invited to create a special look for that special night - Halloween!  Registration is required and begins Monday, October 2.  Sign up at the Children's Desk or call 978 929-6655 extension 4.
Halloween Performance & Storytime
Saturday, Oct. 28, 10-10:45AM

The Halloween Players: students in Grades 5,6,7 & 8 are invited to put on a Halloween performance of songs, poems & maybe some drama on October 28th from 10-10:45AM.
Rehearse after school on Fridays, October 13. 20 & 27. To participate you must commit to attending at least 2 of the 3 rehearsals and be able to be at the performance on Oct. 28.

Halloween Storytime: the performance will be followed by a storytime for ages 4 and up. Children and their grown ups are welcome to come in costume.
No registration required.
