Thanks to everyone that came out to my birthday bash and drew some AMAZING Burleyman works of art. I will be posting the art on our website soon and I will be using it in certain areas of this newsletter each week just like the fantastic Darick Robertson art above.

 

This Saturday is the 7th annual Dr. Horrible Charity event in LA. If you have never seen this film, it's like a modern day Rocky Horror musical starring Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day, Nathan Fillion & directed by Joss Whedon! 

 

Also, it's that time of year again.....for YO-YO's!! If you are new to Golden Apple or this blog, you may not know that my Dad spearheaded a Yo-Yo revolution in the 90's. His work was so important to the sport (yes, it's a sport) that they named the West Coast Regional Tournament after him:
The Bill Liebowitz Classic Yo-Yo Championship is scheduled in LA (near the Arclight and Umami Burger) on Saturday 10/25
