Our Youth Program is well underway also, but it's NOT too late to join in. Contact reception if you're interested and always be sure to check out our News & Events page for detailed information on upcoming activity.

Student of the Month!

Dena F. Rothstein
age 3

I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit and started tap dancing by age 3. I continued to dance (tap, jazz and ballet) throughout my childhood, but stopped when I left for college. I moved to NYC after graduating from the University of Michigan in 2001 and I returned to tap 5 or 6 years ago. When I first started dancing again all my teachers directed me to ATDF as the ideal place to both learn the history and culture of the dance while at the same time studying with the best in a warm and encouraging environment.

Despite my demanding job (in Product Management), over the last few years I've been fortunate enough to study regularly with Brenda Bufalino, Barbara Duffy, and Felipe Galganni (to name a few). I am thankful and honored to recognize that they've repeatedly helped me surpass, both mentally and physically, what I believed I was capable of with the dance. And there's the fabulous bonus of the many wonderful friends I've made at ATDF.
