Welcome, Autumn.
Warm days, cool nights, grey skies, the bright reds, yellows, and oranges that dot the landscape are some of the hallmarks of the next season we are entering into: Autumn.

I am excited to be experiencing my first Midwest autumn and all the changes that accompany the season change.

Read on to learn about the changes that are taking place here at SCVH as well.

Happy October,

New News
We've Moved!

We've moved our offices up highway 65 to Roberts! The office is officially up and running again at our new location: the Roberts ReStore. The ReStore and office are both located at 801 Wagner Drive, Roberts, WI 54023. Drop by to say 'hello' and browse our constantly changing inventory.

You can reach the office at the same phone number, (715) 425-5623.

This move would not have been possible without the immense support and time given by our volunteers and staff members. 'Thank you' to everyone involved in making the move a success!
We're Building!

While autumn has just begun, we're already thinking "spring" here at Habitat! We plan to begin home construction in Spring 2018, but more importantly, we are excited to announce a partner family for the house.

We are partnering with a family of four to build a home in Hammond next year.  A house is not a home without a family, and families are at the core of everything we do. A Habitat home is more than just some walls and a roof -- it is a labor of love that requires the support, encouragement, and dedication of people like you coming together to make the dream of a house a reality for families in our community.

We will announce further construction plans in the coming months. As always, we couldn't build homes for our families without the generous support of our sponsors and volunteers.

Will you  help bring another family home?
Donate today. Volunteer tomorrow.

Become a ReStore Volunteer

Are you good at turning something old into something new? Do you enjoy fixing up pieces of furniture?

Come be a ReStore volunteer today! We need YOU to help us take in donations and give some items a little TLC before we can sell the donations. All profits go toward affordable housing in Pierce and St. Croix counties.

Individual and group opportunities are available.

The ReStore is open Tuesday - Saturday 9am - 5pm. Contact Tiffany Franck at 715-425-5623 or tiffany.franck@scvhabitat.org to get involved today. We need YOU to become a Habitat volunteer!
Habitat in the News

"I can't change the past," he said. "I can only affect the future. And so, that's my goal is to move this organization forward in an effective, sustainable way."

And that is exactly what Randy Boser, Interim Executive Director, is doing each day along side of SCVH staff and volunteers.

Recently, Randy sat down with a reporter from the River Falls Journal to talk about the future of St. Croix Valley Habitat and to give updates on the City of River Falls loan agreement. You can read the whole article here.
Pumpkin Sale

We're selling pumpkins at the ReStore! Come on out during regular business hours and check out a great selection of pumpkins - perfect for decorating or carving.

The pumpkins are grown locally and sales will help support St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity. Pumpkins will go on sale starting Tuesday October 2nd and will continue until sold out. You can visit the ReStore Tuesday - Saturday 9am-5pm weekly.
