Get ready for cooler weather
It's hard to believe that FALL is officially here! It's time to bring out some pumpkins, apple cider, sweaters, sweatshirts, scarves, etc and just enjoy the crisp fresh air that will hopefully arrive and stay!
As we settle into the beginning of our 25th dance season,  I look forward to many fun things ahead~new friends, new steps, new choreography and a new year to develop, improve and grow.  It's been a great start to this dance year so far and my staff and I look forward to a fabulous year full of many happy memories, smiles, and lots of celebrating!

Our Year Ahead
Everyone currently registered for classes has or will receive an ADA Folder of Info.  Please read it carefully and place in a convenient spot to refer to throughout the year.
Our Calendar of Events is included in the folder but the most up to date version with many additions is on the website under the Studio News link.  Please note our show dates and closings and be sure to get them in your calendar now.
If you have not registered but would like to, please call 302-234-9900 to see if space is available in the class you're interested in.

This month as we celebrate the holiday of Halloween, we are having a PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST. Design an ADA or DANCE themed pumpkin, post on social media and tag us!  Our staff will pick the finalists and we will let our followers vote on their favorite one.  The due date is October 25th, and voting will be from the 27th to the 30th, with the winner announced on Halloween.  The winner can bring in their pumpkin to be featured at the studio, and will receive the basket of pumpkin goodies we have displayed on the front desk!!

Senior Splitters
We encourage all our dancers to practice what they learn in class, but we especially want them to work on their flexibility and that comes with continuous practice and a lot of hard work!  Each month on the first week of classes we will hold a Split Club for our jazz classes and post pictures of those who make it into the club on our social media pages.  Keep stretching dancers!!!  Parents-if you ever hear the words "I'm bored" you know just what to tell them to do!
Wee Dance is for any 2-3 year old Tot and their Mommy (or Daddy, Granny, Aunt or Caregiver!).  These classes have proven to be so much fun!!  It's a special One-on-One time dedicated just to those little ones!
Fall session begins Wednesday October 4th
Sign Ups due by October 15th

This NEW PROGRAM which started last year is for the dancer who loves to perform but can't dedicate the extra required class time each week to be in the competitive Dance Company!  We plan to expand the company this year into various age groups with a variety of different routines.

These dancers will perform in our annual holiday show in November along with other fun events such as traveling to a nursing home to spread some cheer, performing at an 87ers basketball game in the Spring, a Phillies game,  participating in parades and other charity events, as well as all other ADA shows!  Each performance is optional and you choose what you want to do!   The only requirement is that the dancer is to be registered for weekly classes at ADA and EVERY STUDENT over the age of 4 is invited to be a part of this new FUN group!

Practices will be held late afternoons on Saturday October 21st, 28, Nov 4 & 11, and then again on January 20th & 27th. Our older girls will be doing Pom routines and the younger girls will be doing Jazz Funk routines.  They will be taught one big production number for all the dancers combined, along with an individual dance for each age group. Once learned, they will practice, and re-set those routines right before a performance.  Performances are optional so you come to what you can!  The first performance will be at our Holiday Show on November 19th.

*If anything is ordered as Christmas gifts please let us know and we will keep them aside.
