Happy Halloween
October is a wonderful month.
Fall is in full swing, leaves are turning, and everyone is getting ready for Halloween.
Apple-picking, Pumpkin picking
and Dr Reisner's favorite ....

Trick- or -Treaters

In support of the Teal Pumpkin Project, we're giving away non-food treats on Halloween. Come by the office and get some!

3 Ways to avoid Orthodontic Emergencies during Halloween

1. S ay "NO" to sticky sweets.
Hard, sticky and sugary treats may damage orthodontic braces and appliances. These include candy corn, caramels, carrots, crunchy chips, gum, jelly beans, licorice, nuts, pizza, popcorn and popcorn balls, pretzels, salt water taffy, sour balls, and sunflower seeds.
Say "NO" to super-sweet treats, such as cotton candy and sugared sodas as theses can cause tooth decay under and around braces as well.

2. Enjoy Braces-Friendly treats
Ice cream & soft, fresh-baked cookies without nuts or raisins.
Plain chocolate and Candy Bars without Caramel or nuts are fine.

3. Donate your Candy
We have provided a way for you to give back to the community, get a reward and help avoid the bad Halloween treats.

*Do NOT use your teeth to open candy wrappers or other packaging.

We will be collecting all Halloween treats and non-perishable items starting
Monday, Nov. 6th.
All donations must be in by
Monday, Nov. 13th.

Everyone who donates will receive
Extra raffle tickets.

Next time you're in the office, take a guess at how many candy corns are in the jar. The lucky winner will get a gift card! Good Luck!
