NEW CLASS -
Bikram Flow

Beginning Monday October 6 there's a new early morning opportunity for you!

This fluid version of Bikram's 26 posture primary series begins with restorative release of the spine, then flows with instruction and modifications for every level of student.

Weeks 1 and 2 will be a led practice, weeks 3 and 4 will be a silent flow. New students are encouraged to begin attendance in the first week each month in order to receive some instruction before attending a silent flow practice.

Time: 7:00am - 8:30am

Swadhyaya Book Club

In October we will be discussing 10% Happier by Dan Harris. Join us as we discuss Dan's journey from spiritual skeptic to avid meditator and what he learned along the way. Through Dan's journey we come to question our own, learn helpful insights into the practice of meditation, and pick up a bit of scientific evidence for why meditation works!

This group is FREE and open to everyone.

Next meeting:
Sunday, October 5 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Dear Friend,

NOW is the perfect time to start your yoga practice or get  back on your mat.  While many of us think of the New Year as the best time for new beginnings, fall can in fact be a great time to start something new or pick up old routines that we've gotten out of.  As the weather shifts, it's a unique opportunity for us to shed our summer skin and begin to return balance to our lives.

Use these tips to help you get started or get back on track:

1. Schedule your yoga practice as you would any other important appointment and then don't skip out on the appointment.  You'd be charged if you missed a doctors appointment, or fired if you missed a work appointment.  Shouldn't this appointment to take care of YOU be just as important?

2. Modify your practice to fit your needs.  Don't feel like you are ready to return to your rigorous vinyasa practice?  Why not take a few gentle classes to get you back in the swing of things?  Brand new to yoga and a little nervous?  Call us to schedule a time to visit the studio and get oriented before your first class or take a few private sessions to learn the basics.

3. Think you don't have time for yoga?  We offer classes 7 days a week.  We offer early morning classes, noon classes, early afternoon classes and evening classes.  There IS a class that will fit into your busy life.....make it a priority!

4.  Take advantage of some of our special workshops and events to jumpstart your practice.

Upcoming Events
Second Saturday Inspiring Asana Clinic

Join Kari as she leads students into the fine art of intuitive sequencing known as Vinyasa Krama. Collective questions about Yoga postures, philosophy and personal health will generate the series for the afternoon, with each monthly session progressing to a deeper embodiment of Yoga in all its forms. Slow and conscious scrutiny of foundation postures, along with CranioSacral anatomy, will offer new perceptions to inspire practice in any Yogic discipline.

Second Satuday Asana clinic will be held the 2nd Saturday of each month, October thru December. Each session will be different, as the discussion and study will be guided by those in attendance.

Investment: $35 (per clinic)
Time: 2:00pm - 4:30pm

**Please register by the first of each month to attend that month's clinic.
