Greetings!
It
is the beginning of Autumn around here, and with it, the changes
have already started to happen. Though, all the seasons have their
charm, Autumn is one of my favorite season because of the sudden
firing explosion of colors. I believe it's nature's way of saying
good night, right before going dormant for the winter...
In October, we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month, so I wanted
to share with you, this little poem I came across with that says it
all... Pink Ribbon Poem:
"Tune In" to good health
A Pink Ribbon you'll
see
It stands for
awareness
For the whole world to
see.
"Tune In" to good
health
Have a mammogram each
year
Do self breast exams
And you'll have nothing to
fear.
"Tune In" to good
health
And quick as a wink
With early detection
You'll be in the
Pink.
The weather looks great for this upcoming weekend, so come and
visit me, along with more than 20 other artists, at the beautiful
Clinton Landing, Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 5pm.
Stay healthy and enjoy the beauty of the season,
Corina

Updating on the fundraiser
Somewhat Off the Wall
|
Somewhat
Off the Wall, the
fundraiser for The Arts Council of Greater New Haven, was a great
success. The event was well attended and attendees went back home
with their favorite artworks in hand.
It was very fulfilling to see that the three paintings I donated
were gone within the 10 first numbers called, and the people that
got them were very pleased to be able to take them home.

OPEN DOORS OF DOWNTOWN
MILFORD
|
I'm
pleased to report that the door I painted for Open Doors of
Milford was auctioned off at more than double the starting price.
It was very exciting to watch people biting on it...a very
rewarding experience. A percentage of the sales from each door was
donated to the Milford Fine Arts
Council.
