Thanksgiving brings us the perfect opportunity to reflect on how much we have to be grateful for. All of us at MYH are thankful to YOU for the past 4 years of support and commitment to a hot yoga practice. Doing what we do, we get to see lives change for the better... Every single day, we watch people improve their health, fitness and state of mind. In the past 4 years, you've helped us to raise more than $40,000 for charities in our local community, and through your yoga practice, you've helped us bring more peace into the World. We have so much to be thankful for!

Prefer the space of a quiet class? Arrange your days around the morning or mid-afternoon classes. We have 8:00am classes every day now and there's always lots of space!

flowGet Into the Flow with Ashlie this Sunday

 

This Sunday from 2:00-3:30pm, MYH's Yoga Advisor, Ashlie, will break down the Flow sequence (high plank, chatturanga, upward dog, downward dog) and teach proper alignment to protect wrists and shoulders, while developing greater upper body and core strength. You will also learn how to use props for injuries and limitations so that anyone can 'Flow like a Pro' in no time!

 

This workshop-style class is limited to a small group and less formal than a traditional yoga class so you can ask questions and get more individual attention. Sign up online today to reserve your spot.



GlowMomentum to Moksha Glow Run Yoga

 

The annual Momentum to Moksha late night Glow Run Yoga is back! Friday, October 24th at 9:30-11:30pm.

 

Join us for a late night 3-5km fun walk/run on the trails from Momentum Fitness Club to Moksha Yoga Hamilton with head lamps, glow sticks, dance music and your BFFs (Best Fitness Friends)!

Register online for $25. All are welcome, no running or hot yoga experience necessary.

karmaOctober Karma Charity of the Month - Food4Kids


 

It is estimated that there are 1,240 children aged 5 - 14 years  in Hamilton who go entire weekends without food. 

Food4Kids provides packages of healthy food to ensure children have nourishment each weekend. Food packages are kid friendly, non perishable and easy to prepare with maximum nutritional content, including 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. 

On Fridays, school staff place the food package into the child's backpack (or one provided by Food4Kids soley for this purpose) to help shield the child from any stigma associated with receiving any kind of food assistance.
