Mary Weighell is the Project Coordinator for the Right from the Start team. With her office being at Elizabeth Rummel School that is where she spends most of her time however Mary will be spending a day a week at the Banff Elementary School supporting the Banff team.

Allyson Van Impe is one of our coaches that works out of the Banff Elementary School, Allyson works with teachers, students and families. If you have a concern about your child's Mental Health or over all well-being you can connect with Allyson to get support a referral or just pop in and she can put you in the right direction for your needs. Deren Alward works at Elizabeth Rummel School and with the grade 4's at Lawrence Grassi. Deren works primarily in the classroom with students and teachers supporting universal Mental Health messaging. Deren also works with community partners supporting programming for the schools and community alike. To connect with Deren you can email him at [email protected]

Kat Wiebe works at Banff Elementary School and supports a range of classroom and community programming around universal mental health messaging. Kat runs a very popular soul warmers group that runs once a week over the lunch hour. To connect with Kat you can email her [email protected]

Kate Rive works a coach at Elizabeth Rummel School. Kate supports families, teachers and students. If you have a concern about your child's mental health, need support to address some concerns or ask some questions you can contact Kate directly at [email protected]

WHATS HAPPENING AT ERS?

Have you filled a bucket today? All of the students and teachers at ERS are being asked this question. Talk to your child about Bucket Filling, get comfortable using the language. Read one of the bucket filling books with your child for a deeper sense of what it means to be a bucket filler or a bucket dipper.

Whats Happening at BES?

Do you know how to get yourself into the GREEN zone? All of the students at BES are being asked this question. Talk to your child about the Zones of Regulation , get comfortable using the language. Read a book with your child for deeper sense of what it means to work within the zones.

Whats Happening with Grade 4's at LGMS?

What a big transition for the grade 4's this year!!! Lucky them they still get to see MR D! Deren has been working in the classrooms and organizing the Grandpal letter exchange and community connection. More to come on this...
