Thank you to everyone who has supported this event and a special thank you to Jessica Coon and the amazing team of volunteers we've had this year! You are all fabulous and the book fair doesn't happen without you. Thank you.

TIME TO Nominate STUDENTS FOR
...
Highly Capable Services and Program for the Academically Talented

The Riverview School District will be accepting nominations for assessing students for Highly Capable Services, including the Grade 2-5 Program for the Academically Talented (PAT) for the 2017-2018 school year.  All first grade students will be screened in January to determine their eligibility, so no first-graders or Kindergarteners need to be nominated. All parents who wish to nominate their 2 nd - 12 th  grade children may pick up a nomination form in the school office starting November 21 st  to be turned in by December 16 th . No late nominations or outside/private testing will be accepted. Those elementary students who meet the criteria on the screener, given during the day at their home s chool, will be invited to take the full Cognitive Abilities Test in February 2017 at Carnation Elementary.

5th Grade Families!
FYI for your calendars...

The 4th & 5th graders have the opportunity to sell Otis Spunkmeyer products starting next week to help offset the cost of Outdoor Camp.   This is a great way to offset the cost for camp which this year is
$195 per student.
Below is the timeline and we will do our best to keep you updated as we know more...

December 12-15 -
Otis Spunkmeyer orders will arrive at Stillwater for pick up!

By January 6 - The amount due for camp will be added to your 5th graders e-funds account taking into account any earnings from the fundraiser.  The AWESOME news is that you can make payments towards the total over the next 4 months if you choose.    If you have questions about this, please call Karie in the front office at 425-844-4681.
