A schedule will be posted with QUIET WRITING TIME of 75 minutes with 15-minute breaks in between.

Writing instructor PILAR ALESSANDRA will come in for a few hours mid-marathon. Pull her aside to privately answer questions or help you move through issues that may be coming up in your work.

PILAR ALESSANDRA
Pilar is the director of the
On the Page® writing program, host of the
On the Page Podcast and author of
The Coffee Break Screenwriter, now available in its second edition. She began her career as Senior Story Analyst at
DreamWorks SKG and, in 2001, opened the
On the Page Writers' Studio in Los Angeles.
Her students and clients have written for
Grey's Anatomy, Silicon Valley, The Walking Dead, The 100 and
Family Guy. They have sold features and pitches to
Warner Bros.,
Disney,
DreamWorks, and
Sony Studios. They've also won the
Nicholl Fellowship, the
Austin Screenwriting Competition, and the
Warner Bros. Writers' Workshop.

As an instructor, Pilar has traveled the world teaching in
London,
Beijing,
Warsaw,
Lisbon,
Cape Town. In L.A., she's trained writers at
CBS,
ABC/Disney,
Nickelodeon and will moderate the
AFM Pitch Conference this November.
