 October 2017
Celebrating the gift of life!
September was incredible. Between our Donate Life Golf Tournament and this year's kLaVoy Donate Life Walk and Run, we were able to raise more than $10,000 to help support several of our programs and initiatives that provide support for donor families and help make more life possible through increased donation education and community awareness! Thank you to everyone who volunteered, registered, donated, promoted and participated in these events and helped make them such a massive success.

We're also incredibly grateful to the Conine Family, whose 3rd Annual Timothy
Conine Memorial Softball Tournament raised thousands of dollars in Timmy's honor and registered several community members on the NYS Donate Life Organ and Tissue Registry! It was a fantastic event and a picture perfect way to honor Timmy's legacy as a donor.

With all that and more happening here at CDT, we still have PLENTY of opportunities to get involved over the next month. Check out the upcoming opportunities below and email Shaina if you are interested in volunteering for an event or would like more information!

And finally, our  Volunteer Appreciation and Education Luncheon is right around the corner! It will take place on Saturday, October 21st from 10 am - 2:30 pm at Longfellows Inn and Restaurant in Saratoga Springs, NY.  Presentations for the day include a panel on sharing your story; presenting donation information to young adults; and an overview of donation and religion from one of the Chaplains in Albany Medical Center's Pastoral Care Departments.  Please RSVP if you have not done so already!
