We've been telling you about it for almost a year.  And, this month it finally arrives:   The NACM Western Region Credit Conference.  It starts in just a few days when more than 200 people converge on the Renaissance Hotel for a great gathering of credit professionals.

Twelve months of planning is bringing outstanding speakers and presentations together to enhance your skills and add to your professional toolbox.  We're pleased with the program, attendance, and enthusiasm for this year's WRCC.  If you're coming, I look forward to seeing you.  And, if you just haven't gotten time to register yet, there's still a few more days to be part of the big show.  A link is proved below that will be live until October 5th.  So, join in before it's too late!

Beyond putting the finishing touches on the WRCC, we're also looking ahead to the future of NACM Business Credit services.  You will soon see updates to our website intended to make it more helpful and easier to navigate.  We're also doing regular posts to Facebook and LinkedIn with information you can use in your daily professional life.  Just click on the links below to receive the posts.  In coming months, you will also be hearing about new products, services and training designed to help you been an even better credit professional.

Upcoming Education Opportunities from NACM

Hawaii in February
Winter Seminar and Presentation

On Thursday, February 16th, we will be offering a special day of education for our Hawaii members - and any other customers who may be traveling to the islands at that time.  Representatives from Experian, Dun & Bradstreet, and UTA will be coming to Honolulu to present their latest products and services -- all available through NACM Business Credit Services.   In addition, we will have a special seminar speaker.

The progam offerings will be of interest to credit and financial professionals, so be sure to invite your associates to come along.

Pull Credit Reports

As the 2008 financial meltdown approached, there was a common mistake made.  Companies quit pulling credit reports.  Sometimes it was done as a cost-saving measure, other times it just didn't get done for whatever reason.

In the end, ignoring reports proved to be a major and costly mistake for many of our members and customers.  Credit reports are an important tool to help keep your company and your customers of out of trouble.
