BIG FREEDIA HITS FUSE TV THIS FALL
The queen diva of New Orleans bounce, Big Freedia, is about to become a TV star. The Fuse TV network announced this week that Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce will premiere on Wednesday, September 18.

Sweet Home New Orleans presents the Ogden Museum's "Ogden After Hours" series with one of the first Empower Musicians Seal of Approval awards this Thursday, June 13.

Thankfully, I'm not the only media person who's stood up for the idea of legalizing marijuana (both usage and sales). The TP has allowed editorials from Jarvis deBerry (and also from James Gill, who has now decamped for the Advocate). I think it's ridiculous and disingenuous for anyone in this day and age to decry marijuana legalization.
