O The Blood! 8/10/16
Revelation 12:11 (KJV)
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Happy Anniversary to me and my wife TOMORROW- Number 43! Who'd a thunk!!??
The Verse quoted above is an oft-preached Verse, with much insight and meaning to the Christian!!
HOW do WE overcome the devil??
ANSWER- "BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS!"

WHAT CAN WASH AWAY MY SINS?
NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!!"
But today I want to call attention to the Verse immediately preceding:
Revelation 12:10 (KJV)
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
How many will agree with me and also LONG for the day WHEN:
"
THE aCCUSER OF OUR BRETHREN (that includes you AND me!) IS CAST DOWN,
WHICH ACCUSED THEM (us) BEFORE GOD DAY AND NIGHT."
I watch daily, with muted horror, the media circus surrounding our "political" system!!
NEVER, in my long life, have a seen such vile, hatred, lies, and ACCUSATIONS hurled over the airways and internet.
Certainly, one would have to have a STRONG sense of worth to withstand the withering attacks!!!!
I can only imagine these contestants retiring nightly with King David's Words on their lips:
"
BUT DAVID ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD HIS GOD!"
1 Samuel 30:6 (KJV)
6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but
David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
I had those same Words on my lips and hearts AFTER being deposed by 4 high powered/high priced attorneys this past Monday!!
I had been "prepped" by my attorney and told to answer all questions truthfully, but not to hesitate to use the simple answers "YES and NO."
And to use, as often as necessary, "I don't know/I don't remember."
Beloved, the world we now live in is a world of constant surveillance!
Our every word, thought, action, movement, financial transactions are being recorded!!!
And EVERYTHING we say or do, "Can and Will be used against us!!!!!"
The "aCCUSER of the BRETHREN" is still alive and roaring.
THANK GOD FOR THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!!!
Ephesians 1:7 (KJV)
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Please allow me to say this:
NONE OF US WILL EVER PASS THE "SMELL TEST" ABSENT THE BLOOD OF JESUS!!!!
