CETE at The Ohio State University,  in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Higher Education, requests your participation in writing and validating 2016-17 End-of-Course (EOC) test items for the Education and Training career field. Upon completion of the Item-Writing workshop, you will be awarded a certificate with contact hours that you can submit for your continuing education requirements. Additional information.
WebXam Field Testing for Hospitality and Tourism and Family and Consumer Sciences
Field tests will be launched in early October, along with most other tests (only exception is pretests, which are up now for a month from Aug 15-Sep 16).  This year it is Oct. 3, and THEY CLOSE EARLY.

The main points that folks seem not to understand are:
  1. There are more items, 85-100, due to the idea of "testing the test".
  2. If there are enough test-takers, we finalize to 40 items and then rescore for accountability.
For more information check the WebXam News.
