Regional Conference
Regional Conference is open to all students currently enrolled in Family and Consumer Sciences courses or related career field and are a FCCLA member.  Advisers will have their own sessions that will discuss FCCLA updates.   FCCLA Dress Code is required for this event.

Conference Goals:

* Students will develop and enhance leadership skills
* Students will receive training on roles and responsibilities of voting delegates
* Students will receive updates on competitive events and State Leadership
   Conference
* Advisers will receive updates on upcoming FCCLA events and policies concerning
* Competitive Events and State Leadership Conference.Time: 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.  
   Fee:   $10.00 per person

Service Learning Hours
Please make sure members are logging Service Learning hours.  We will be recognizing top individuals and chapters at State Leadership Conference.  You can find the link to the portal on Ohio FCCLA under the "Program" tab "Service Learning Tracking Portal".
Ohio FCCLA Endowment Challenge
This year The State Executive Council has issued a challenge to all chapters to help support Ohio FCCLA Endowment by donating a minimum of $25.00. The Endowment offers scholarships for FCCLA members, supports Ohio FCCLA state events as well as Regional Competitive Events.  All chapters that meet this challenge will be recognized at State Leadership Conference.
Get Started on Your Lead2Feed Project!
FCCLA is currently the leading Supporting Association group for Lead2Feed with over 500 chapters registered!
 
Participating in the Lead2Feed program is turnkey and easy to do!  If you're already registered for the program, log in to access lessons, resources, and more in the Members section of Lead2Feed.org.  Follow these steps below to submit your project.
 
  1. Complete your profile! Click on the My Profile link on the left hand menu, and fill out steps 1 and 2. Don't forget to click on the SUBMIT button!
  2. Work through the lessons! Take a look through the 10 lesson track or the 6 lesson track and pick the track that is best for you.
  3. Complete your Milestones & Project!  Once logged in, visit your dashboard to create your team.  Next to your team name, select the Milestone that you are ready complete and click GO!
  4. Submit Your Project! In your dashboard, click on the ENTER THE CHALLENGE button next to your team's name. If you have submitted the three milestones, you'll see that your answers are already populated in the form.  You can also download a copy of the Project Submission questions to prepare your submission as you complete the lessons.

This is a great resource to use with members as they identify goals for Service Learning hours.
Regional and State Executive Council Candidates
The Applications and Handbooks for Regional and State Executive Council have been posted on the Ohio FCCLA website.  There will be Candidate Training on March 19, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. at the Ohio FFA Center, 717 East 17th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43211.  Registration will open in February.  This is not a mandatory meeting.  Applications are due March 25, 2016.  Please submit to ohiofccla@education.ohio.gov (Title the email Candidate Training).
Action for Healthy Kids
Your school's alternative breakfast program helps students start the school day with a nutritious meal.  Highlight your program's success by entering the AFHK Lights, Camera, Breakfast Contest.  Submit a creative 1-minute video that could win your school a grand prize of $5,000!

Go to www.actionforhealthykids.org/contest to find out how to enter.  Entries will be accepted through January 8, 2016.  Have fun and good luck!

'For Grace' shares the culinary journey of C-TEC grad
Chef Curtis Duffy, who spent his formative years in Licking County, is featured in a documentary "For Grace" which focuses on the opening of his Chicago restaurant, as well as his childhood.
