Celebrate My Drive
Celebrate My Drive  encourages teens to make positive choices behind the wheel, like Drive 2N2® - 2 eyes on the road, 2 hands on the wheel.

WHAT:  The Celebrate My Drive campaign challenges high schools to explain how they will address a teen driver safety issue at their high school or in their communities.  High school students can use creative elements to incorporate #Drive2N2 into their activities and communicate safe teen driving.

WHAT CAN WE WIN? Twenty-two high schools will win a $100,000 grant and one lucky high school will win a private concert by Echosmith.

HOW DO WE ENTER? In order for a high school to win a grant and the private concert, the high school administrator must answer four questions, provide a brief write-up and upload a photo or video during the contest entry period, October 12-25, 2015.  One entry per high school only.  From the submissions received, selection of the 100 high school Finalists will be determined by judging criteria and then featured on celebratemydrive.com
HOW/WHEN DO WE VOTE? Public voting will take place November 9-13, 2015 to determine the 22 high school winners.

Don't forget to spread the message of #Drive2N2!

Questions? Please reach out to State Farm's Community Specialist Kim Lust  with questions or check out the FAQs and Official Rules at www.celebratemydrive.com .
CareerSafe Cyber Safety PSA Contest
Not a day goes by that we are not introduced to a new product or service that enhances our ability to communicate, work, play, or learn via the internet.  The speed of technical innovation is often breathtaking, leaving educators running to catch up with the "early adopters" that race to the stores to buy the latest gadget.  Unfortunately, as these technologies enter into the mainstream of our society and find their way into our schools, they may introduce a "dark side" that disrupts our ability keep our students and teachers safe.
In response to teens adopting this new technology as an extension to their lifestyle, FCCLA is excited to partner with CareerSafe on a new scholarship opportunity to educate individuals on the importance of protecting yourself online. Through the new National Cyber Safety Public Service Announcement scholarship contest, students across the country are challenged to create a 30-second audio clip promoting the importance of safe online behavior. The winning students will have their audio clip broadcast nationwide through the National Association of Broadcasters airways as well as receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Additional information about this great opportunity will be announced in October during National Cyber Safety Month.
