LMP Progress Updates
Here are a few quick updates on what happened with the Liquor Modernization Project last week.
  • We received the Certificate of Occupancy for the Green warehouse, giving us the go-ahead to start operations. Check out the progress in the photo. Also, DHL is training on the new system last week and this week.

  • Last week, we shared that five Agencies received their Clover Stations. Those are now successfully being used for retail sales, and we continue to shake down the processes for sales submissions.

  • During the pilot, it became apparent that the way electronic payments for wholesale orders are submitted is affected by our new processes. We did our homework and have updated the process so there’s no impact to Agencies. Pilot testing proved its worth!

  • Agencies that are in the first wave to roll onto the new system received personalized, detailed information about what to expect with go-live, including information about training, delivery schedules and day-of activities. All Agencies will receive this information via email and U.S. mail one month before they are scheduled to move to the new system.

  • The Liquor Enterprise and Microsoft team made a full-court press and completed work to properly design and fully test all security roles. Because these roles dictate what tasks users can complete, making sure they are configured correctly is critical.

Please feel free to share this information with others. Also, don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or feedback by contacting the Help Desk at 877-812-0013 or [email protected]

LMP Deployment Calendar
For information on the LMP deployment schedule, please see the deployment calendar now available on the LMP website . The calendar shows high-level key milestones and important upcoming dates for the project.

For questions, please contact the Help Desk at 877-812-0013 or [email protected].

*Please watch for future emails with LMP progress reports.

New Liquor Enterprise Service Center
We are instituting a new, enhanced help facility totally focused on the Liquor Enterprise. We are calling this service the Liquor Enterprise Service Center (LESC). The LESC will be responsible for receiving all liquor-related inquiries, and assigning, tracking and reporting on the resolution of those inquiries. To make it easier for Agencies, the LESC will use the same phone number and email address as the current Help Desk: 877-812-0013 or [email protected].

In addition to the LESC, during deployment, we are setting up a war room – a troubleshooting center – that will be staffed by subject matter experts to immediately answer your questions. We’ll also have Liaisons travelling around the state during deployment to offer on-site support. These two services combined will ensure that any issue that may arise during deployment is caught and resolved quickly and accurately.
Handheld Scanners
We have completed the software upgrade and testing of the handheld scanners. The first scanners were shipped last week to Agencies that are in the first three waves of LMP deployment.

All Agencies will receive one scanner prior to transition to the new system. Agencies will receive an email regarding their deployment date and the shipment of their scanner in preparation for go-live. Some Agencies will receive an additional scanner at a later date (either shipped, or delivered via an Auditor or Liaison).

When the scanner is received, please remember the following:

DO
  • Plug in the charging base
  • Insert a battery into the scanner
  • Insert the scanner into the base to charge that battery
  • Insert the second battery directly into the base to charge
  • Leave it charging pending inventory prior to go-live
DO NOT
  • Touch any keys/buttons
  • Try to log in
  • Attempt to use the scanner in any way
 April Shelf Tags
Shelf tags for April were mailed to all Agencies last week. The April price file has also been uploaded to the Agency Portal. Please note that there are a minimal number of changes for April.

For questions, please contact the Help Desk at 877-812-0013 or [email protected].
