We are in need of donations to our Food Pantry.
All donations are gratefully accepted. 
Items consistently needed are:

Peanut Butter

SPAM
Canned Corn
Canned black beans
Canned Fruit
Thank you to our group of volunteers who stock the shelves
 and check the dates to make sure that the pantry is current.
CSBE Annual Congregational Meeting

Refreshments: 7:00 p.m. Meeting:  7:30 p.m.
Where: Kahn Auditorium
All CSBE members in good standing are encouraged to attend the annual congregational meeting. Letters containing the slate of candidates to be voted on and proxy information has been mailed. Please contact the office at 766-4300 if you did not receive this material.

Intergenerational Shabbat

Join us for an evening of Shabbat celebration for the whole family.
6:00 p.m.: Family friendly dinner, pasta, meatballs (vegan option) sauce and salad. Sing along with Cantor Kohlbrenner and Judy Leff.

Celebrate Shavuot At CSBE 
When: Saturday, May 19, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Kahn Auditorium
Join us for this three part study session involving art, music and text. Dairy food will be served in between each session. Please RSVP by Wednesday May 16 to Joy or call the main office at 766- 4300. Please indicate if you plan to bring a blintze dish.

Books and Blintzes: A PJ Library Shavuot Celebration
When: Tuesday May 22 6:30 p.m.
Where: Art Room 
Children ages 8 and under along with their siblings and a chaperone, are invited to  to celebrate the holiday of Shavuot. E njoy a PJ Library storytime, edible craft, song and movement. 
$5 per person  $15 max per family

Jewish Experience Open House   
When: Thursday, May 24 7:00 p.m.
Where: Resource Room 
Spread the word to family and friends. Open house for parents of kindergartners and new first graders as of fall 2018.  Students will create a Shabbat project while parents learn about our innovative educational program, The Jewish Experience. 
Shabbat on the Beach  
When: Friday, June 1, 6:30 pm 
Where: Long Beach at Long Beach Blvd,
Beach Entrance 
Bring a beach chair and enjoy the beautiful sunset as  we welcome Shabbat together on the sand.
