employment tip sheets (available in English and French) aim to solve this problem by providing information and referrals to local services and programs.

Every year WPH releases a Labour Market Plan which provides an overview of local labour market developments in Hamilton during the year.  Our report details the work of WPH, and that of our community partners.  An up-to-date profile of Hamilton's labour market is crafted by the development of Local Labour Market Indicators (LLMI); a community overview is included; updates on the City of Hamilton's six key industry clusters; an update on the 2012 Labour Market Plan; and our 2013 Labour Market Plan for Hamilton which lists our key priorities and projects for the upcoming year.  You can expect an email releasing the report in the very near future!

 

We'll also be releasing detailed reports on the lifesciences, healthcare, and agribusiness and food processing sectors in Hamilton.  These reports will provide details about the top occupations, workforce needs and challenges of each of the sectors.
