HATS OFF (OR ON, RATHER) FOR QUEEN ELIZABETH
Sixty years is a long time to sit on a throne, wearing a crown and requesting all the bon bons you desire. In all seriousness, Queen Elizabeth II is the second-longest reigning monarch, only trumped by Queen Victoria who reigned for a total of 64 years. In the Diamond Jubilee Year of her reign, we have plenty of opportunities to celebrate our Queen, one of them taking place June 3 at the Harbour Room at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. The Bermuda Reception High Tea for the Bermuda celebration in honour of Her Majesty begins at 4:00pm with traditional High Tea and a period hat and fashion show. Ladies are requested to wear hats and gloves and men morning suits and top hats. Tickets available at www.bdatix.bm.

In celebration of their 25th anniversary, Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art invite you to share in an evening of nibbles and toasts at Ferrari Bar at LV's on May 11. Supporting Masterworks helps Bermuda's artists to showcase their work, providing a home for local art and a place where Bermudians and visitors can learn about our island's history through art. Stop by between 4:30pm and 9:00pm and show your support.
Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art will hold a second event in honour of their 25th anniversary, this one taking place May 18th at Masterworks Gallery and combining great wines and a fun quiz night!
