Hello Everyone!  
I wanted to share with you how fun it was to see all the familiar faces and horses even though I was looking through a camera lens.  I am happy to tell you that after looking through over 3000 images that I took over the weekend, I did find some that I feel are quality photos...  I never realized how tough it was to capture photos of humans and animals, needless to say I learned a lot.  Thank you for the opportunity and I'm looking forward to offering some of the pictures for sale.

We had such a fun show in Verndale.  Thanks to all of you who attended and helped out at the show. 
 
The YOUTH hosted our exhibitor dinner, thanks to all the youth and adults who helped make that happen.  The s'mores table and bonfire was a hit again (I love the different ways you can make s'mores.  
Who knew?) . Thank you to Jen Filek and Julia Charlsen for the bonfire treats.  The Youth also sponsored the Ride-A-Buck fun class.  THAT was entertaining!
 
We have a wonderful show weekend planned for our show in August including some fun activities, an exhibitor dinner hosted by Victory Lane Academy, along with complimentary breakfast treats and coffee.  A mixer event, a costume class and several fun games sponsored by the MPtHA Youth team round out the weekend.  And if that's not enough, we have four amazing judges and great members exhibiting really nice horses.  It will be a great weekend.  Come and join us!
 
Don't forget, we also have our youth scholarships that are based on High Point by division awarded for EACH SHOW.  Don't miss out on this opportunity.
 
Thank you to our volunteer coordinator, Julia Charlsen  who helps to staff all of our volunteer positions.  If you want to get involved and get to know people quickly, contact Julia.   Right now, I know we are in need of someone to take charge of the amazing annual Directory .  This is such an important PR piece for us as well as a keepsake for our exhibitors. If you have the time, interest and skills, please let us know right away.  Plans are already in the works.  She also has several other jobs, of all sizes, if you want to get involved.
 
We hope to see you all at our show at Minnesota Equestrian Center in August!

The summer is flying by so fast it's already time for the  Color Celebration Pinto Show August  25th-27th at  Minnesota Equestrian Center in Winona, MN.   Looking forward to seeing you all in just a couple of weeks.

There are many fun events planned for the Color Celebration in Winona.  We had really great participation in the NSBA classes in Verndale, and everyone enjoyed the Walking Taco dinner, the special cookies, and the amazing breakfast treats.  Thank you to our many volunteers who continue to make things happen!
 
We would also like to thank those of you on social media, for continuing to share our posts on your own page, and in groups.

Valley Vet Supply has a Club Program in place. Our members are registered with their club affiliation as MN Pinto. When you purchase products from Valley Vet Supply (excluding wormers), the amount of the products purchased will be recorded on our club account. For every $1000 in purchases, MN Pinto gets a $50 credit on our club account for award purchases.  So make sure to check out their website at  www.valleyvet.com  for all your equine, pet and farm needs. If you get a Champion, Legion of Merit, Supreme Championship or Superior Performance award, you get one photo and a short article in the newsletter to show off your accomplishments.  Please contact me regarding an available month in the newsletter. It is your responsibility to contact me with your achievements and to get your article info to me by the 20th of the month preceding the issue you are scheduled to be in.  No reminders will be sent.
