Apple Blossom Closure/Annual Holiday
As every year, we are closing the week of the Apple Blossom Festival. This year, we are closed Sunday April 29th through Monday May 7th, reopening at noon on Tuesday May 8th.
I know a lot of you have out of town guests you'd like to bring to the restaurant, but with the streets around us barricaded during dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of Apple Blossom week, it's just not feasible for many people to get here. So, we take a well-deserved break and we'll see you after the festival is complete.

Tasting Dinners
When I go out to eat, I want to sample the best of the menu at the restaurant where I'm dining, so tasting menus really appeal to me. A tasting is a multi-course menu with small portions paired with wines. We do 7-course dinners paired with wines for $105 and 9-course dinners for $125.
It seems like we are doing more and more of these dinners each week, but we're doing them for out-of-towners and not for our regulars. Maybe you have special guests in town or are celebrating a special occasion? We'd be happy to create a special menu just for you. To get the ball rolling, just call us or e-mail us.
Here are photos from a recent dinner so you can get an idea of what we do. |

Big Changes to Wine Program
We have what we think is the best wine program in the area. But we still are not satisfied at that. We are currently pushing forward in several areas:
- Wine List Renovation. We have a new list that should launch around the 18th of May. We are aiming to bring you really fun wines that you need to taste but probably wouldn't have the opportunity to otherwise. Ever heard of Pecorino wine, a white from Abruzzo? What about a dry Petit Manseng from Virginia? A still red Pinot Meunier from Oregon?
- By the Glass Specials. We are now opening some of our special and more exclusive bottles each week for by-the-glass pours. This is your opportunity to taste some of our finer wines without having to purchase the entire bottle. This program is already in place and customers are loving it.
- Wine Flights. We are bringing on wine flights in the near future. You'll be able to compare and contrast three different half pours of wines simultaneously. This is a fun way to learn a bit about wine.

Spring Lunch Menu
Mini-Pizza with Duck Confit, Caramelized Onions, and Gorgonzola. Where else are you going to find this on a lunch menu but here? This is but one of many new dishes just launched on our spring lunch menu. Come give the new dishes a try; we'd love your feedback.
Also, having a staff lunch? We box lunches for offices all over town. Why not yours? Put together an order, call it in, email it, or fax it over to us. Give us an hour's notice and we will have it waiting for pickup.
