The only semester school designed specifically for 6th-9th graders.
Creating academically curious leaders and stewards of tomorrow through academic and outdoor exploration, ethical reasoning, and self-discovery in an intentional community.
We are thrilled about the bright and adventurous members of our inaugural class starting this fall! At Steward, we are committed to need-blind admissions, and we meet 100% of all demonstrated financial need for each admitted student. This allows us to enroll a diverse group of students from the applications we receive from across the country and around the world.

We have a couple of spaces remaining for 6th-9th graders.
Do you know a student who would love a semester spent outdoors engaged in hands-on learning and adventure? Our few available positions are expected to fill quickly, so we suggest encouraging students to apply as soon as possible.

Our philosophy is simple:
1.  Every student deserves the opportunity to attend Steward.
2.  We believe in the value of outdoor, hands-on, experiential education for every child.
3.  If tuition is an obstacle, we can help.
Attending Steward Will:
Give students a head start on developing independence, organization, good judgement, risk-taking and other life skills
necessary for success in high school, college and beyond.
• Nurture a student’s motivation for and interest in learning.
• Complement a student’s education with experiences that are not available at their home school.
• Allow students from public and day schools to benefit from a boarding school experience without the cost or time commitment of attending a four-year school.
• Offer students considering boarding schools with the experience of living and learning in a residential setting.
• Provide students with unique, eye-catching experience that sets them apart from other applicants in the high school and college admission processes.
